Many women dream of their perfect wedding day ever since they’re young girls, and Chelsie Hill is no exception. When she met the man of her dreams, she and him began planning this magical day.

Hill has been paralyzed from the waist down since she was 17 years old after getting into a car accident in 2010.

Although she uses a wheelchair, she knew she wanted to surprise her husband-to-be by walking down the aisle to him. With help from leg braces and a walker, Hill was able to make her dream a reality.

Her husband, Jay, turned around as Hill and her dad made their entrance. Once he saw her walking, his jaw dropped. Not only did she make Jay cry, there wasn’t a dry eye in the place. Everyone could feel the love as Hill walked toward her husband.

“I lost it,” Jay told Inside Edition. “It took everything in me just to keep standing. I’m an emotional guy, and when I saw her, I was blown away.”

“My whole life I had imagined standing eye to eye with my husband on my wedding day. After my accident, I wasn’t sure if I would ever find someone who truly loved all of me,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing part of her vows.

“You have accepted me fully, honored me and adored all the parts of me. For this moment today, I wanted to do something I had always dreamed of. Stand eye to eye with you as we promise our lives to each other.”

In addition to walking down the aisle, Hill also stood while she and Jay shared their first dance as newlyweds.
