An injury attorney in Indiana has gifted $30,000 worth of gift cards to help families in need purchase Christmas presents this year.

This time of year can be full of beauty and joy, but it can also be a challenge for those who want to celebrate Christmas with gifts but don’t have the means to do so.

Families in need may struggle to provide for their basic necessities and can’t even think about Christmas presents, which can leave children feeling left out and disappointed.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the attorney, Kenneth Allen, bought around 300 $100 gift cards for Midwest supercenter chain, Meijer.

He partnered with two different school districts to distribute the gift cards to the families who are most in need.

This isn’t the first time that Allen has stepped up to help those in need. He’s donated hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years and has sponsored programs like Reading Buddies and the Kidstop program, and the humane society.

Thanks to his generosity, hundreds of families will have additional money to purchase presents for their children this year. It’s the time of year to be generous, and the world could use more people willing to give.
