NatWest Group Do good Feel good event

Since our involvement in Giving Tuesday began, we’ve donated over £3m to encourage our employees and customers to get involved in supporting this global day of good, that inspires millions of people to give and celebrates generosity in all its forms. This year we are donating £350,000 to the causes our customers and colleagues support

This year, NatWest Group employees are encouraged to support the campaign by signing up for the Payroll Giving scheme. If they sign up before the end of the year or increase their current donation, the bank will also give them £125, which they can donate to their chosen charities.

If you’re a NatWest or Royal Bank of Scotland MyRewards current account customer, you can also support us this year by exchanging your MyReward points for a donation to Cancer Research UK. The bank will then match all donations to the 14 designated Rewards charities up to £50 per customer, to a total of £150,000.

The Giving Tuesday campaign is just one way NatWest Group support Cancer Research UK. Not only do employees give through Payroll Giving, but they also take part in Race for Life events and volunteer in our shops. NatWest Group also run their own challenge events to support the charity sector: 5K, 10K, half marathon runs, bungees and abseils. Staff could support any charity they wanted, and Cancer Research UK was a very popular choice. We’re also delighted that they chose us as the beneficiary charity for a regional campaign where a £5 donation was made to Cancer Research UK when a customer started using the mobile banking app. We’ve also been working with NatWest Group to consider how we maximise Gift Aid donations to benefit not only Cancer Research UK, but the charity sector as a whole.

1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime*. Support from partners such as NatWest Group allows us to make crucial progress in our life-saving work, raise awareness and bring hope to everyone affected by cancer.

Thank you, NatWest Group customers and employees for your ongoing support. It’s fantastic to have you by our side. Together we will beat cancer.
